First off, Lala uses Flash for its streams, a software that Apple has never liked to work with. The acquisition has raised a few eyebrows as well when it comes to just how effective Lala can be to Apple. Some wonder why Apple would have to change anything about how iTunes delivers music/video, considering that the program heavily dominates US music download sales while also doing extremely well in overseas markets, but Apple has never been a company to try and jump on the bandwagon after something proves successful, they like to be the first horse out of the gate.
